Due to the COVD-19 pandemic, the Joint MedRIN and SCERIN Capacity Building Workshop (CBW) was held virtually on June 15-17, 2021. The CBW was organized by the coordinators of SCERIN (J. Albrechtova, L. Kupková and P. Campbell) and MedRIN (I. Gitas, D. Hadjimitsis and V. Ambrosia), and will be hosted virtually by START (Jon Padgam and Clay Oboth). The CBW focused on: “Ecosystem health, drought, and wildfires in the context of climate change”.  The CBW was coordinated with a Trans-Atlantic Training (TAT, https://tat.web.auth.gr/, June 1-4 2021), for students and young professionals, which was organized by P. Štych, F. Sarti, G. Gutman and A. Mouratidis.
